Course Terms

Please note these terms and conditions apply unless an alternate agreement has been made between Medical Education Group LTD and the Client

Payment “Group Bookings”

Full Payment for group bookings is strictly required on receipt of invoice.

Payment is required prior to the course (see certification)

Payment “Open Courses”

Payment for “open courses” is required in full when booking. This acts as confirmation of the booking. “Open courses” are those booked at our venue.

Cancellation by Client “Group Bookings”

Courses cancelled, by the client become liable for the following charges:
20 days or more notice = Full refund
14 days or more notice = 20% of total cost
7 days or more notice = 50% of total cost
Less than 7 days notice = 70% of total cost
Less than 36 hours notice = Full amount payable

Cancellation by Client “Open Courses”

Placements cancelled, by the client become liable for the following charges:
14 days or more notice = Full refund
Less than 14 days notice = No refund

If a candidate fails to attend an open course no refund is given. This also applies to candidates who do not complete the full course. If an open course is not completed candidates would need to re-book onto the next available course and payment in full would be expected.

Certification

Certification shall not be issued until payment has been received. Candidates must complete the full course in order to receive certification

Certification – Replacement

Replacement certificates will be supplied at a cost of £5.00 per certificate (inclusive of VAT and postage)

Candidate Substitution

Clients may substitute candidates for the course at any time prior to the course commencing. Please inform us as soon as possible.

Unpaid Invoices

Medical Education Group LTD reserve the right to charge interest on late payments.
Invoices 30 days or more from invoice date are liable to daily Interest and debt recovery costs.

Interest shall be charged daily at the Bank of England Base Rate +8% on the outstanding gross amount inclusive of VAT (No VAT is chargeable on the interest itself)
Under late payment legislation debt recovery costs will be charged as follows:

Amount of Debt / Charge

up to £999 / £40
£1000 – £10,000 / £70
£10,000 or more / £100
